JF Fitness and Therapy is the first business in Parry Sound to offer Boxing/Kickboxing and we would love to have you come out to give it a try. Boxing sessions are 45 minutes in length and currently only offered privately (not in a group fitness setting).
Boxing may not be the first sport you think of when thinking about getting into shape but this fun, intense and dynamic workout will have you feeling the benefits quickly. This is a great way to build stamina, get lean, and improve agility, endurance and coordination. Not to mention, its a great stress reliever.
Workouts start with a quick warm up and practice of the basic techniques: kicking, punching, stance, etc. Then the fun and intensity begins as you move through 2-3 minute rounds of "attacking," either sparing with your instructor and their pads or a heavy weight bag.
